St. Petersburg, Florida (February 13-15, 2026) — The 2026 L30 North American Championship concluded on Sunday with a single race in fresh wind.
The previous two days of racing included three races took place in excellent weather conditions in Tampa Bay: sunny skies, warm temperatures, and steady winds of 6-10 knots.
Team Morning Breeze, skippered by Michael Norris representing Macatawa Bay Yacht Club, took a convincing victory in the championship.
Team TardeX from Ukraine, skippered by Zakhar Dikhtyar got silver medals.

The championship was part of Helly Hansen Sailing World Regatta Series established by Sailing World magazine in 1988, offering exciting racing and an energetic, fun, and competitive atmosphere with professional race management, diverse fleets, and social events for participants. The event includes social activities such as post-race dinners and live music, lecture series, cocktail competitions, and other gatherings that foster camaraderie and community among sailors.
