An extraordinary, international atmosphere. One of the largest sailing events in the world. Regatta sailing at the highest level. Unbeatable class diversity. This is Kiel Week.
.
The Hungarian team, owner Csaba Medgyesi, won a brilliant victory. Silver medalist Oleksandr Mukhin from Ukraine and bronze went to Ukrainian team, helmed by Dmytro Syshchevskyi.

The regatta began with a costal race from the city of Kiel to Eckernferde, continued with a series of windward/leeward races in the Kiel Bay. Participants experienced all wind conditions from light, medium and very strong winds in survival mode, giving them a new level of seamanship. An unforgettable atmosphere of the Kiel week, the Baltic Sea weather and German beer with local fresh fish left a lifelong experience to all participants.

Congratulations to the champions and prize-winners of the 2025 L30 European Championship.

2025 L30 European Championship Results
Andrii Tymoshenko, Team TARDEX: ”The Tardex team was pleased to take part in the European Championship as part of the Kiel week. I would like to note the professional approach to the organization of races. Sports spirit of the participants. And even the difficult weather conditions did not interfere, but only added adrenaline to the participants of the races. I would like to wish the L30 class to continue to grow and everyone more cool events.”

Oleksandr Mukhin, Team Kherson:”Kieler Woche left a great impression — it was especially nice to see the L30 class become part of such a major sailing event. The regatta brought a wide range of conditions, from light winds under the blazing sun to fresh, stormy breezes. The atmosphere was incredible — hundreds of yachts and participants around us, a true sailing celebration that we were proud to be part of. I hope the L30 class will once again be part of this amazing sailing festival next year!”

Csaba Medgyesi, Team Happy Merida: “Exciting races, I was feeling butterflies in my stomach! Excellent beer and fish! Excellent team work! Great experience, having Baltic weather yesterday and go sailing tomorrow on warm waters of Balaton.”
