The third day of the 2026 L30 World Championship in Trieste delivered exactly the kind of sailing everyone had been waiting for: fresh breeze, fast racing and plenty of action on the water.
With wind gusts reaching up to 30 knots, the L30 fleet faced demanding conditions that put both boats and crews to the test. The two races were highly dynamic, with spectacular manoeuvres, several broaches and plenty of adrenaline throughout the fleet.
After two races sailed today, Black Sheep from Hungary took control of the overall standings. The team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing first in both races of the day and establishing itself as the team to beat going into the next stage of the championship.
The Corinthian division is currently led by Rising Star Youth Sailing Team, a young Italian team showing impressive speed, consistency and determination in the challenging conditions of the L30 World Championship.
With the fleet now fully into championship mode, the competition is intensifying. Fast boats, strong crews and unpredictable conditions are making every race count.
