07 October 2025 – Sanremo, Italy – The highly anticipated L30 World Championship officially began at Yacht Club Sanremo today, registration and measurement were completed and practice race held in perfect sailing condition.
Two training starts followed by the race start showed the benefits of Vakaros RaceSense technology implied by the Class for the first time. Competitors from four continents representing seven nations including past champions and Olympians, remain optimistic about the week ahead. Racing will resume tomorrow with the first warning signal scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
The 2025 L30 World Championship, organized by the one of the oldest and most active sailing clubs in the Mediterranean, Yacht Club Sanremo in collaboration with International L30 Class Association is made possible thanks to the support of the Rooster, Harken Derm and Liguria – Regione Europea dello sport.
