Trieste, Italy — September 8, 2026

The final day of preparation is complete in Trieste as the international fleet competing in the 2026 L30 World Championship took part in the official Practice Race.

The teams completed three practice starts before sailing one race in light and challenging wind conditions. The session provided the crews with a final opportunity to test their boats, fine-tune their setups and assess their performance on the race course.

With the Practice Race now successfully completed, the fleet is ready for the main event.

“Today was an important final test for all the teams. The conditions were challenging, but everyone had the opportunity to check their boats and themselves before the Championship begins. Now the preparation is over — tomorrow it is time to race.”

The first race of the 2026 L30 World Championship is scheduled for September 9 at 12:00.

The boats are tuned. The crews are ready. The competition begins tomorrow.

The wait is over. Let the Championship begin! ⛵🏆
