Trieste, Italy — 10 September 2026
The second racing day of the 2026 L30 World Championship in Trieste was marked by strong wind weather conditions.
The day began with a strong wind bringing powerful gusts to the race area. Part of the fleet took the opportunity to head out onto the water, hoping that the conditions would improve enough to allow racing to begin.

Although racing ultimately could not take place, the teams were able to enjoy some spectacular sailing in the strong wind and make the most of their time on the water.

The decision to abandon racing was made with safety and fair racing conditions in mind. The L30 fleet now turns its attention to the next racing day, with teams ready and waiting for a more favourable window.
The championship is far from decided — the boats are ready, the crews are prepared, and everyone is looking forward to getting back on the race course.
The wait is on. Let the wind give us a chance to race. ⛵️🌊
